Annual Autism Awareness Walk - East Feliciana
Join us at the Annual Autism Awareness Walk on April 2, 2026. Welcoming more than 300 participates including families, educators and healthcare professionals and community leaders as we come together to promote autism awareness and community support. This event raises critical funds and awareness to support individual, and families affected by autism within our community.
Kiwanis Crawfish Kingpin Cookoff - Walker
Come join us at the Kiwanis Crawfish Kingpin Cookoff on April 11th! Teams will battle it out for the title of Crawfish Kingpin, while spectators get to enjoy sampling all the delicious, boiled crawfish. Along with the cook‑off excitement, the event will feature local vendors, live entertainment, and plenty of activities to keep the kids smiling. It’s the perfect outing for the whole family, and we’d love for you to be part of it!

Touch-A-Truck - Lake Charles
Come join us at the Touch-A-Truck event being put on by the junior league of Lake Charles on April 11th! This event allows children and families to get hands-on experience with vehicles of all types, construction, public service, emergency, utility, landscaping, transportation, delivery, and more! Children will be able to interact with their favorite vehicles, learn about the importance of safety, and meet the men and women who serve and protect our communities.
Seize the Day - Baton Rouge
Join us at the 22nd Annual Seize the Day Warrior Walk series to help fundraising for the Epilepsy Alliance Louisiana. The Baton Rouge event will feature a time 5k Run/Walk race and 1 mile Warrior Walk. Epilepsy Alliance Louisiana is dedicated to supporting individuals impacted by epilepsy by confronting the spectrum of challenges created by seizures. Team members from Pelican will be in attendance at a booth with awesome giveaways!
Autism Acceptance Picnic - Lafayette
Lafayette’s Autism Acceptance Picnic is a free, family‑friendly community gathering designed to celebrate neurodiversity, promote inclusion, and offer a welcoming space for autistic individuals and their families. The event features games, crafts, food, and opportunities to support organizations. Team members from Pelican will be in attendance.
Festival International - Lafayette
Festival international brings 50,000 people to downtown Lafayette. This festival is highly anticipated and is a great opportunity to network and listen to music. Enjoy music from around the world, food, artwork, and more. Team members from Pelican will be in attendance with some awesome giveaways!
Miles of Smiles Autism 5K - Monroe
The Miles of Smiles Autism 5K in Monroe is a family‑friendly April event that brings the community together to promote autism acceptance, support local programs, and celebrate individuals and families affected by autism through an inclusive run/walk.
West Calcasieu Chamber Fest - Westlake
Come join us at the West Cal Chamber Fest happening on April 25th at Pinderosa Park in Westlake, LA! This event will feature Senior Bingo, an outdoor festival with food trucks, vendor booths, live entertainment, a car show and much more!
DSAMA Antique Village Spring Festival 2026 - Denham Springs
Come join us at the Antique Village Spring Festival on April 25th! This event will feature hundreds of food trucks, vendor booths, art exhibits, music and much more!
Join us for Pelican Credit Union's 2026 Annual Business Meeting on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at 4:30pm. Pelican membership is required and will be verified. Attendees will be able to join the meeting online or by phone!

River Fete - Alexandria
Alexandria’s River Fête is a three‑day celebration of Central Louisiana’s arts, culture, and heritage, held each spring in downtown Alexandria along the Red River. The event consists of live music, street performers, craft vendors, children’s activities, and food from across the region. Pelican team members will be in attendance discussing our Team Pelican services!
South Franklin Parish Catfish Festival
The South Franklin Parish Catfish Festival is a celebration that highlights the region’s culture with fresh catfish plates, local vendors, live music, and family activities, bringing the community together for a day of food, fun, and Louisiana pride.
Livingston Parish Business and Community Expo
Join us at the first Livingston Parish Chamber Expo since 2019. It will feature everything that Livingston has to offer and will include a job fair, restaurant challenge, and businesses will be showing off their brand and products!
Food Bank of NELA Empty Bowls - Monroe
This annual Food Bank of Northeast Louisiana event raises funds to support hunger relief for underserved individuals. Guests will choose a bowl to take home as a reminder of the empty bowls in the community. The event features local restaurants, live music, a silent auction, and more. Pelican team members will be volunteering in support. All proceeds benefit the Food Bank’s hunger relief efforts across Northeast Louisiana.
Slidell Heritage Festival
The Slidell Heritage Festival will be celebrating its 28th year in 2026, and we hope to see you there! The festival is a great day of family fun held at Slidell’s Heritage Park. Vendors and food trucks will be offering great options for sale. Drinks will be available for purchase. The line-up will provide musical entertainment, followed by a fantastic fireworks display!
